MSC Software Company, developer of the leading multi-body dynamics (MBD) simulation solution Adams, has released Adams Explore. It’s a new feature in Adams View and Adams Car that enables the export of user-selected model characteristics to a spreadsheet file (.xlsx format), from which one can modify model parameters, run simulations, and generate plots.

Here are some of the benefits:

  • Perform “What If?” studies without waiting for CAE analyst colleagues
  • Enable engineers without knowledge of Adams to run MBD analyses
  • Familiar interface to engineers and their managers
  • Submit analyses and review results from any platform with a compatible spreadsheet editor
  • Easily distributable due to centralized model storage and simulation
