Step 1. Create the Spreadsheet. Ask your Adams analysts to export a spreadsheet representing the car model by utilizing the free Adams Explore add-on feature, which you can then use to modify and run the simulations.

Step 2. Modify the parameters. Inside the Spreadsheet, you can modify any parameters that have been defined in the Adams models, like the hard points, stiffness and damping coefficients, camber angles and so on.

Step 3. Run your simulations. Once you have all the parameters set correctly, go to the Adams Explore plugin and submit your job. At this point, the Adams solver will start the analysis and run the simulation in the background.

Step 4. Review your results.  When the simulation is finished, you will obtain a full set of vehicle dynamics results within Excel, from the steering angle, lateral acceleration, yaw rate to customized design objectives like the maximum roll angle, average velocity and many more.
