Achieving competitive drivability, ride comfort, and safety are challenging tasks when designing a suspension system. OEMs seek solutions to simulate and optimize the dynamic and structural behavior of a car in order to perfect handling, steering and ride quality. We teamed up with ESTECO to demonstrate how to integrate solutions to provide you with techniques to validate and optimize the design of a suspension system.

Adams/Car software has been employed to understand the dynamic behavior of a suspension system during a braking maneuver in order to evaluate accelerations and forces applied to the system. In addition, MSC Nastran defined an accurate structural model of the front suspension to predict the stresses and deformation of the system. Watch the webinar to find out more!
